At a party in 1979 at age 14, I remember trying to impress a guy by smoking; I didn't know I had to drag and not puff! We used to smoke after school on the stairwell of a plaza at the train station; we actually started to like it, but we really must have smelt. Then one day as a teen, I smoked two packets of cigarettes in one day [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and the next morning I woke up and didn't smoke again; I was sickened with the thought of what I'd done. Fast forward to age 29 when I was studying at university in the USA, I smoked during my exam week two or three times. That's about my experience of smoking. From teens to the brief times I smoked in the mid-90's during university [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I was an anti-smoker and since then. Everyone knew I'd cross the street if I saw a person with a cigarette on my side of the street. I was in a store in Sydney today, and I stood in the same place at the counter that two people just had and they'd left the stale dreadful smoke smell.
