U.S. Court of Appeals ruled that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration can regulate electronic cigarettes only as tobacco products. The Court’s decision means the FDA is entitled to monitor the marketing and sales of the products, but has no authority to restrict them. The FDA initially asked the court whether it can ban electronic cigarettes or regulate them as drugs.
An inhalator is used to inhale medications in the form of a mist.
