I've been to Association a few times and this place is not bad but definitely not the best dive bar in LA. (For me, it's Golden Gopher,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]!)
In any case, one of the few things I don't like about this place is the lightning. I'm all for a bar giving it's patrons a romantic and private vibe with the lightning but lets not take it to the point where I'm crashing into people because it's sooooo dark,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]!
Also,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], there's not much diversity here. Usually I feel as if I stick out because in each occassion that I've been here, the place turns into an Asian hangout.
Anyhow, this place is not bad but I probably won't be coming back for awhile.
