In this mildly swanky and never pretentious establishment, you may encounter bartenders that have a bit of bluntness in remarks that would not be light-hearted, but yet in all good humor. Never ask what beer or liquor they have; rather tell them what you want in particular and they will work with you.
I ordered a Pisco Sour that was well crafted and consists of raw egg whites. Perhaps the alcohol content can almost have a pasteurizing effect to the egg.
