Diane von Furstenberg conveyed an abundant, colourful collection that veered from superb to wacky and occasionally downright weird for next autumn/winter.
Staged against a tequila sunset backdrop on a fanciful isle paradise, the collection was an upbeat wham-bam of fun and colour.
Inspired by the phantasmal concept of the nomad, she merged wizardry carpet knits, leopard prints and paisleys with plaids, black and pearly geometrics and dazzling gold and silver beading. OKAY, so not everyone is working to absence to dress a plume tunic with disguise leggings, accessorised with a wild and woolly pom-pom hat and a couple of platform clogs trimmed with sheepskin or a psychedelic tartan coat and metalline tweed micro clothes with skinny leather jeans and a trunkload of beads. But that was virtually the point.
