Despite initial scepticism, the firm was the first to actively promote a 21-jewel lever movement. It became part of the company's slogan, and set the standard for other watchmakers. The stability and laser-like accuracy of the Accurist brand truly hit the spotlight when the world counted down minutes, then seconds to the new millennium; the Greenwich Meridian Clock used an Accurist clock to report the time. <br />Such a timepiece-one that carries the reputation of being so accurate, so fashionable and so long-lasting-is surprisingly affordable. But innovation and willingness to change has allowed the business to keep its watches priced far below what someone might expect.
