"It's wonderful, I love it," she says. "Fashion couldn't be the same without it. I suppose the designers are taking advantage of the fact that everybody is in town. Some of the big couture houses perhaps weren't as attention seeking as usual this season. Lacroix was enchanting. Some have said that the season was too commercial for couture but I don't agree with that. You can't use the word "commercial" where a John Galliano Dior collection is involved. That really was extraordinary." And the highlight of her week?
