Goldin was chosen by a panel of industry experts - including Simon Ward,discount ghd straighteners, joint ceo of the BFC, Sarah Mower of STYLE.COM and the BFC and Vogue's market editor Emma Elwick - from a shortlist of British-based talent that included Basso & Brooke, Emilio de la Morena, Jean-Pierre Braganza, Osman and Todd Lynn.
Designers who currently show on-schedule at London Fashion Week - and have either received NEWGEN funding within the last three years or are at a similar stage in their business development - were eligible to apply for sponsorship to show at LFW in February 2010 through Fashion Forward.
