Just released at the 20th Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie are the Parmigiani timepieces particularly designed with the World Cup in mind? Parmigiani's Captains' Watch model is a token to the spirit of sportsmanship. The captains of thirteen countries's football teams will have the once-in-a-life-time honour of designing their wonderful 18 carat white old Pershing chronograph watch model – ten of which will be created as limited versions. The thirteen countries that have been selected are Brazil, Argentina, Cameroon, C?te d'Ivoire, England, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, South Korea, Spain, and the United States. A percentage of the profit from each Pershing chronograph audemars piguet?watch model will be donated to a charitable cause chosen by each captain. Parmigiani has already created three of the thirteen timepieces: the Pershing Chronographs created by Fabio Cannavaro, the Italian captain (pictured here), by John Terry, the English captain and by Carlos Bocanegra, captain of the United States team.
