Cream Cheese Cut Out Cookies In a mixing bowl combine the butter, cream cheese and the sugar. Refrigerate for 1-1/2 hours or overnight.Take out half the dough and roll it out on a floured board about ½ to ¼ inch thick and cut with the heart shaped cookie cutter.Place on baking sheets that have been sprayed with a non stick spray.Make sure they are placed 2 inches apart.Bake at 375 degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes or until they are slightly brown.Leave on the sheets for about 5 to 10 minutes then remove to a wire rack to cool. Instructions: Once the cookies have cooled frost them with delicious cream cheese icing. Color it with red food coloring making it red or pink or a combination of both. Cream cheese makes anything better and it makes some great cut out cookies. These cookies come out soft and tender and it is very hard to resist them. Their sugary goodness makes for a great treat.
