"Since being the 37th, 116th and 118th players drafted in 2009, respectively, cornerback Alphonso Smith has become productive for Detroit only after Denver traded him for tight end Dan Gronkowski, a 2010 seventh-rounder; safety Chip Vaughn was cut by New Orleans and is now a fringe player for Indy; and inside linebacker Stanley Arnoux has five tackles in two years for the Saints. In fairness to Arnoux,NCAA Jerseys, he missed his rookie season with an Achilles injury.
"We're seeing now that Aaron Curry Jersey was protected by an unusually high-profile defensive class from Wake Forest. There were four Wake defenders drafted within the top 118 picks in 2009. The last time Wake had as many players -- on both side of the ball -- drafted at all was in 1958.
The earlier mailbag item addressing Aaron Curry Jersey's career trajectory in Seattle drew an email from draft analyst Rob Rang. Rob has been a valued resource for draft information for years. He lives in the Northwest, attends Seahawks practices on occasion and has watched the team play for years.
"All have generally been disappointments so far, providing an example of how the relative talent surrounding a player can emphasize their strengths on tape and mask their weaknesses."
Aaron Curry Jersey, the fourth player chosen in the 2009 NFL draft, had two sacks against Arizona in Week 10.
Following up: Analyst's thoughts on Aaron Curry Jersey
Rob Rang: "I think you're absolutely right on Aaron Curry Jersey. Continue to bulk him up and move him to 'Leo' if his instincts don't improve. He's been beaten in coverage often in the first two years. Coverage ability was considered a strength out of college due to his athleticism and his ability to make big plays (four interceptions with an ACC-record 226 return yards and three touchdowns). |
