Aaron Curry Jersey Frustrated by Seahawks' Defense Missing Tackles
If the Seattle Seahawks want to get back to the playoffs, they're going to have to do a better job of tackling.
The Saints racked up 494 yards of total offense against Seattle Sunday, the third time in the last four games they've allowed at least 475 yards in a game.
"It was a lot of missed tackles,'' linebacker Aaron Curry Jersey told the Seattle Times. "We missed a lot of tackles that were turned into big plays. Big plays always are the result of missed tackles.''
New Orleans had no shortage of big plays, including clicking on 11 of 15 third-down tries, three of those plays third-and-10 or longer.
"When we don't play well on third down, we have trouble,'' coach Pete Carroll said. "That was what happened.''
One of the problems is that the Seattle defense, which was the team's strength in the first six games of the season, continues to suffer injuries.
Sunday's game started with two starters, defensive end Red Bryant and defensive tackle Colin Cole, both out. Then cornerback Marcus Trufant suffered a concussion in the first quarter and didn't return. Aaron Curry Jersey
Still, Carroll isn't pinning the blame on injuries.
"What that has to do with injuries,NFL Jerseys, I'm not going that way,'' he said. "We just keep battling. We got to figure it out. There's no question we miss Red. Red was a big factor for us, and we've been ringing that bell since we've been together, but other than that, we're OK. We kind of keep fighting and scratching and clawing to get to 'em.''
