If I ask you what you want out of life, your first reply will probably have something to do with money -- lots of it. You want to win huge at the casino. You want to hit the lottery when the jackpot is at $200 Ed Hardy,000,000. You want big money! Right?
Wrong!
Think approximately it. If your final goal in life is to be rich, what are you going to do while you fulfill that goal? Remember -- a goal is the last destination of a journey. When you reach your goal Ed Hardy Jeans, you're by the end of your journey.
Example: Right now you're in one ongoing dispute with your next-door neighbor. You hate her with a passion. She makes your home life pathetic. You obtain a lottery jackpot of $132,000,000. Remember -- that was your goal. You've reached the end of your journey. Only there's still a problem. You're circled with stacks of green paper but you still have the same neighbor.
Example: Right immediately you're struggling to keep food above the table for you and your kin. Many nights supper namely peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Your goal is money. You calculate that ambition repair anything. A distant comparative dies and leaves you a parcel. Since you've reached the end of your voyage -- your goal to be rich -- everything should miraculously be perfect. But await. Your goal was equitable to have money, so unless you and your family can gain a taste as raw green periodical, you're still going to be dining peanut butter and pudding sandwiches.
Do you look where I'm going with this?
You thought your goal was to be rich. If you had enough money, all of your life's problems would perish.
That's not the direction life goes.
If you can't stand your next-door adjoin, your goal isn't to be rich. Your goal is to push. Sure, you may need a lot of money to push to the perfect house in the neighborhood of your nightmares and afford it with the best of everything. So, yes, you need money. But you don't intend to obtain the money and sit nigh seeing at it.
You plan to cost it.
And what you want to purchase with that money is your real goal.
If you're peckish, your goal isn't money -- your goal is food.
If your automobile stops scampering, your goal isn't money -- your goal is a new automobile.
If your roof is dripping, your goal isn't money -- your goal is a new roof.
So ahead you begin charting out your life's journey, make sure you know where you're attempting to go. Uncover what you really want out of life and how to get it.
