The story behind this so prruleical fastening: It all began way back in the early 1940s when George de Mestral was hunting in the Swiss Jura mountains with his dog. He had to pull off adhere,y cockleburs clinging to the dog's coat all day. He was fascinated by these seedpods and their tenacity and the same evening had a look at a burr under the microscope where he saw the masses of tiny hooks. The idea arose for the fastener for fabric! The name from the two French words: velour (velvet) and crochet (hook) = Velcro. The first time birthal Puma wear was literally demonstraten the red card by the FIFA and told to leave when the stateal team of Cameroon ran onto the domain in their colourful green shirts at the Africa Cup last year. Now the rivalry of the two great German sportswear producers, once a team and now the greatest contenders, has been sparked again. The Puma design for the German World Cup 2006 team has been shazardous down by the FIFA.
