This month’s Bust Magazine (a very bodacious mag with a feminist twist) features a great interview with Velvet, the plus-sized model who caused a media frenzy when Jean Paul Gaultier sent her down the runway in October.

Bust: If you could dictate the future of the fashion industry,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], what would it be?
Velvet: If I had a magazine,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I would love to have a shoot on a beach with an 80-year-old woman, a gigantically fat woman,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and a really short woman. I’m very much an advocate for plus sizes,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but I’m even more of an advocate for diversity. Why can’t we have a 90-year-old woman in a Gaultier dress? That to me is way more f***ing interesting than the same 17-year-old I’ve seen a million times.
