If you've started off 0-2 as I have, and are in desperate need of some waiver wire pickups, here are some names to watch out for on your leagues' wire: Mark Clayton, Kevin Walter, Jason Snelling, Mike Tolbert, Peyton Hillis, Rams D/ST, Louis Murphy, Santonio Holmes, Vincent Jackson, and Graham Gano.
Misses
RB: Ahmad Bradshaw (seven points) didn't breakout this week as many fantasy experts nationwide had thought he would, but he will likely benefit from the Brandon Jacobs helmet throwing incident.
QB: Starting Matt Cassell,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], as we had advised, was a bad move. Maybe Cleveland's DB's aren't that bad after all. Or maybe Cassell is just way overrated from his one season with the Pats.
Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers production up to this point has not warranted their selections in the first round. Bargains abound at quarterback with Phillip Rivers, Kyle Orton, Matt Hasselbeck, and Matt Schaub all off to solid starts.
Back in July when training camp opened, nobody could have foreseen four of the top-five scorers so far being Jahvid Best, Arian Foster, Michael Vick, and Jay Cutler. Right now, Cutler and Phillip Rivers are looking like they might be the Aaron Rodgers of this year. They both had solid performances both weeks.
With all that being said, were already two weeks into the season and there are already some major developments that require our immediate attention.
K: Blasted Kickers. Always gotta be difficult. We only hit on one of our kicker predictions this week, and that was to sit Stephen Gostkowski (one point).
RB: Darren McFadden lit up the Rams for 17 points, and this columnist advised fantasy nation to start the Raiders back. He's looking really good this year. Michael Turner got injured early, and Cedric Benson got shut down by the Ravens D. We advocated a benching of both players. Hopefully you heeded our advice.
Now, these are all elite players and by no means are we telling you to cut any of these guys loose yet. Just continue to monitor their production and adjust your roster according to their weekly matchups.
D/ST: We advised a benching of the Steelers D (28 pts). Our apologies if you took that advice. For the rest of the season we will likely stray from dissing the Steel Curtain. We also thought the Titans' D (six points) would match up well against the Steelers. And while they did play well,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a lack of turnovers hurt their total points.
WR: We missed on both our Start picks here, with Legedu Nanee only getting one point and Nate Washington nine points. Not a horrible performance by Washington, but not really worthy of a start unless your in a deeper league.
With all the hype surrounding the Jets' and 49ers' defensive units going into the season, it's the trusty old Steelers D that leads all fantasy defenses in production.

Last week, we made some brave predictions in our first edition of Sit Em or Start Em, and we feel pretty good about the .583 hit percentage we carried (14 hits, 10 misses out of 24 picks). Anyway, without further adieu, here's a quick recap of our successful picks and bungling blunders from Week 2.
D/ST: We ended up 2-2 on our defense picks, but we made some huge blunders. On the Hit side,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], we successfully predicted a solid week from the Saints D (nine points) and a bad performance from one of the more disappointing fantasy defensive units so far this year, the 49ers (one point). I took the Niners D pretty early in my draft, and I've been kicking myself ever since. Hopefully they can turn it around.
K: Hopefully you ignored our kicker predictions for Week 2, because we missed pretty badly on three out of the four. First of all, we thought the wind at Candlestick in San Fran would bother Garret Hartley (12 pts), a dome kicker. Boy were we wrong. We also missed badly on both our start predictions with Phil Dawson (one point) and Dan Carpenter (two points).
Matt Forte looks to be fully healthy and back to his 2008-2009 form. He struggled last year mightily due to some nagging injuries, and this year he is really looking good. Mike Martz's arrival has significantly improved his production as a pass catcher out of the backfield.
TE: If you took this columnists advice and started Dustin Keller (17 pts) against the Pats, good decision. We also hit on our both our sit picks, Jason Witten (five points) and Tony Gonzalez (one point). Gonzo especially is really showing his age this year, and Dez Bryant is taking more and more targets away from Witten each week.
TE: The Steelers passing game is suffering with the absence of Big Ben, and Heath Miller (no points) hasn't looked the same without the former team captain. I'd stay away from anyone in the Steelers passing game until Ben makes his return against Cleveland.

QB: We told you to sit Brett Favre and David Garrard, who combined to throw seven INTs. Not to shabby. We also rode the Mike Vick (19 pts) bandwagon along with the rest of the fantasy world.
