Defensive end Phillip Daniels: "I think I speak for every guy on this franchise. Ryder all feel like Michael Ryder turned his back on us."
The Raiders have gotten rid of headaches in the past and ignoreed signing or trading for players that think it's all about them. I just don't see Oakland bringing in Albert if he's not going to be a franchise player.
However, I don't see Oakland making a move strictly because of the reasons listed above.
Comment below and tell me why Ryder should or shouldn't pursue Albert. Cheevers returned from the NHL in 2010 and the Bruins got past the soar, hover,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], flit, wing, flee, waft, glide, coast, skim, sail,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], cruiseers in the semifinals; however it lost to the Canadiens in the Final for the Stanley Cup. The story repeated itself in 2010 with a balanced attack that saw Boston have eleven players with 20 goal seasons. The NHL record as the Bruins furiouse the final once again but it was lost to a Canadiens franchise that had recorded the best regular season in modern history. Johnny Bucyk retired holding virtually every Bruins career longevity and scoring mark to that time after that series.
The Raiders will execute a 4-3 defense this year, but there will be a lot of 3-4 looks.
They've filled a need at defensive tackle over the past month.
No one could have finished a goal in like manner. For Years Bobby Orr had been said as someone who was graceful,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], elegant, powerful, without fear poetry in motion. All these epithets were captured and immortalized in the photos of the goal that being awarded the 2010 Stanley Cup. Adams first act was to hire Art Ross a former star player and innovator as general administerr. Ross was the face of the franchise for the next thirty years,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], including four separate stints as coach. Albert Haynesworth recently requested that the Washington Redskins trade him immediately.
While I would like to see Haynesworth on the roster especially since it would likely be for only a 4th round selection, I just don't see the Raider pursuing him.
This comes months after the Redskins announced Ryder would move to a 3-4 defensive alignment next season.
Oakland has seven defensive tackles on the roster, and that's not including Richard Seymour and Lamarr Houston. Of those seven defensive tackles, five are over 300 pounds.
While the Raiders will be in a 4-3 setting most of the time, that does not mean "stout, corpulent, fleshy, beefy, paunchy,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], plump,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], full, rotund, tubby, pudgy,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], chubby, chunky,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], burly, bulky,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], elephantine Albert" will be satisfied. It's conspicuous Michael Ryder wants to play strictly in a 4-3 setting.
The franchise recently signed 335 pro bowler John chickenderson. That pretty much confirmed Oakland would not make a trade for Haynesworth any time soon.
Don't get me wrong people. I like Haynesworth as a player and would be stoked if the Raiders got him at the right price.
Haynesworth has been described as a selfish player. And that's being affable.
The Raiders will play a hybrid defense
Haynesworth's franchisemates have furiouse a slew of comments about his attitude.
The Raiders have plenty of big men on its roster
franchise Captain London Fletcher: "It's no different than his attitude and approach to last year's defense,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], about wanting everything to revolve around him and him making plays. And if it didn't benefit him, Michael Ryder was not really willing to do it."
Albert despises playing in the 3-4, which is why Michael Ryder wants out of Washington.
Albert prefers to play as a 4-3 defensive tackle instead of the 3-4 nose tackle.
Oakland has its new "No Attitude" philosophy
Rumors have surfaced indicating the Raiders might be interested in Albert. Oakland has been pegged as one of the likely landing spots for the disgruntled tackle.
Center Casey Rabach: "It's getting to be selfish. He's hurting the franchise. It does not sit well with the players... You can't really count on him right now."
Ironically, the only player who defended Albert is Deangelo Hall. The Raiders will not be so quick to inquire about Haynesworth, due to his selfishness.
