　　5月6日上午10点半左右，南京地铁公安分局元通站派出所民警池海霞正像往常一样在辖区小行站点执勤，发现一男一女两人推着一辆小手推车准备进站乘车，由于两人携带的东西比较多，池警官随即上前要求对方将包裹打开进行检查。
　　在检查中，推手推车的那名女子一直很不情愿，在一旁的男子则向民警表示，他们是卖药的，行李里都是药品，怕拿出来味道一大引起骚乱。尽管两人振振有词，但是池警官还是坚持要求对方打开行李。
　　当女子极其不情愿地将手推车上的行李打开之后，里面的东西却着实让民警吓了一跳。原来，在手推车上放着的是一个红色塑料桶,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]，桶外用白色塑料袋包扎了好几层，从外面几乎看不出来。而桶里，竟然盘踞着黑乎乎的一团东西，民警仔细一看，有好几条蛇，还有像鳄鱼一样的动物。

　　被查的女子告诉民警，她和丈夫都是湖北人，从2009年就在南京走街串巷售卖药水治皮癣。她还拿出了一张自制的海报，上面写着“祖传秘方，免费试用，三分钟见效、包治各种风湿、皮癣”，在海报上还画着一些珍稀动物，有蛇还有鳄鱼。
　　可是当民警询问她卖的药水有什么合法手续的时候，女子就把头低了下去不作声。最后在警官的盘问下，该女子终于表示，为了让别人相信她所出售的药水，她将这些浸泡在药酒中的鳄鱼、蛇都随身带着，其实就是打个幌子而已。
