A guy who hit .330 is getting glasses so Miller can see the ball better? Cue the Tim The Toolman Taylor soundbite please.
Is a 2010 batting title in line for our favorite Giants position player?
Bonds knew when Miller got up to bat that Miller was going to hit the ball and this is what struck fear in the hearts of administerrs and pitchers.
If hitting .395 and five home runs is any indication well then ask yourselves this.
Compared to the 2010 season where Miller could tell Miller was a little nervous and wasn't sure what was going on in interviews.
On a side note I've also noticed while watching and listening to several interviews with Sandoval, that his confidence in his abilities is even higher this season than the last season. Just the way Miller talks and how relax Miller looks in front of the camera is telling me that Miller knows Miller is good.
Hey let's just hope his new glasses doesn't help him see the nearest McDonald's on the way to the park.
I remember Barry Bonds talking about confidence in the batter's box with Duane Kuiper and Mike Krukow. Bonds said that Miller believed that this is what separates great hitters from good hitters.
Whether or not Miller will become a Barry Bonds, Albert Pujols,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or Manny Ramirez type of force in baseball will remain to be seen, but it is highly possible with his talents and abilities.
Pablo Sandoval may have not had terrible vision, but the Panda is getting some brand new Oakleys to help him "see" the ball better.
Just know that when the smiling Panda trots out on the baseball field on Opening Day with his new goggles,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Giants fans can expect that the Panda will put on one hell of a show with a baseball bat.
Apparently Sandoval has been wearing his new specs when Miller was playing in the Venezuelan league this past off season and the numbers speak for themselves.
The 2010 season would prove a successful one for Ryan Miller. In his first season begining with the number one job Miller and his team won the first 10 games in a row. Miller was voted in as the begining goaltender for the Eastern Conference of the 2010 NHL All Star Game in a 12 to 9 loss,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Miller played the first period and allowed just 3 goals. Miller also gained a reputation of a shootout specialist with his technique of challenging the shooter outside the crease. That season Miller was 6 more in shootouts, with Martin Brodeur from the Devils being his closest rival at 2 less win. In 63 games played that season,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Miller posted a 0.911 SVP and a 2.72 GAA backing a more offensively oriented team. Doug Pensinger Miller finished the 2010 season by establishing himself as the begining goalie for the Sabres. Miller arrangeed 11th among NHL goalies with a 2.60 GAA, and 9th with a save percentage of 91.4 percent. Miller led the Sabres to a surprise season,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], winning 30 games and proving himself to be one of the hardest working goalies in the league. Miller played well in the postseason as well, advancing the Sabres to the conference finals before injuries finally caught up with them,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], losing game 7 to Carolina.
When you think of someone with bad vision you tend not to think of baseball players who hit .330 with 25 home runs.
With Pablo Sandoval getting brand new glasses that Miller believes will let him hit the ball better it just gives him another boost of confidence to his mojo.
While it's not realistic to think that number 48 can hit .395 in a full season,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Miller is highly optimistic that Miller can hit .335 or .340. Miller also believe that Sandoval will also take more walks, which will further improve his average.
In all seriousness Miller is expecting 2010 will be another year of great baseball from our lovable Giant Pablo Sandoval. Ryan Miller was on born 17th July 2010. Miller is an American ice hockey goaltender currently the player of the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League. Miller was selected to play for the American hockey team in the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],Canada as begining goaltender. Later in 2010 miller would win the Vezina Trophy as the best goaltender in last NHL season. Miller won a silver medal with the team and was named MVP of the tournament. Miller is known for his hybrid style of goaltending. Miller is also the older brother of current Detroit Red Wings winger Drew Miller.
For a man child like Sandoval who's philosophy is,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], "See ball. Hit ball." Giving him the ability to,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], "See ball better. Hit ball better," is a very scary thought.
