go the website and there should be a fragment where you can send queries to. GHD are well good at customer service. Me and my daughters each have a pair and over the years, I have returned three sets and on two occasions received brand new replacements, the third was repaired (foc), excellent service. Would be good though if they didnt fail to work with such regularity, just bought the pink edition for my youngest, will see how long it lasts. __________________

I then sent them to be repaired by the GHD guys... Only to have them returned to me with a letter saying that they were fake and they would not repair them.
?100 Down the drain .
So be cautious who you buy them from Caitlin_E View Public Profile Find More Posts by Caitlin_E Threads Started by Caitlin_E 24-09-2008, 14:38 #25 scrapper Registered User

im a roughresser that has used ghds since they were launched years ago. they are by far the optimal. the saying you pay for what you get is true here and i now have my own salon and would not stock or recommend anythoing else. i have sent a couple of pair back. one pair was repaired and the other was unrepairable as there were the old mark 3 and now the new ones are mark 4. but the still offered me 25%discount on a new pair which persoinally i think is fab customer services. both pair were out of gaurantee and were used all day everyday apparently with me been a hairdresser. ghd could have fairly easily turned round and said sorry out of gaurantee. buy a new pair. so basically if your thinking of buying ghds , then do. customer service is fab.
oh by the way sunday 1st feb got 10% off ghds for one day only. its a re- launch day. check out my website __________________

Join Date: Sep 2005 Total Posts: 1,134 The Mark 3 came with 1 yr warranty - Mark 4 came with 2 yr so what service you get depends on the age. My daughters went wrong after 23 months and they replaced them with a new pair foc. Personally cant fault their service but when you look on the web, there are so many "imposter web sites" it would be easy to send your ghds off to the erroneous address. However, I do think their customer service has improved over the years (probably as so many of us now swear by these things) as I have used their service a couple of times. __________________

Join Date: Mar 2007 Total Posts: 73 Me and my mum had been sharing a pair of GHDs for almost 4 years (after mine died and I couldn't afford a new pair). Mums died before Xmas so we sent them back for repair, happy to pay for it. 2 Weeks later I got a call saying they didn't have fractions for the Mark 3 model anymore and couldn't replace them as we were well out of warranty, so could distinctive; offer us a discount on a new pair of Mark 4, we did this, paid ?90 and they arrived 2 days later. A week later, a parcel came for me, which I view was something else I'd ordered onlength. When I opened the box, there was a brand new pair of Mark 3 straightners in there and a letter saying they were a replacement pair so now we've both got a brand new pair for ?45 each which i'm happy about.
So if yours interval, send them back. If they call offering and say the same thing, either buy a discounted pair, and if a replacement comes, send the new ones back for a refund, or just ask if you can sit on it a week until 'payday' or something, and see if a new free pair comes for you Joraffe View Public Profile Find More Posts by Joraffe Threads Started by Joraffe 11-10-2010, 11:07 #32 ghdsem Registered User
