2.15.2010– (Goleta,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Calif.) - Next fall Teva®, (a division of Deckers Outdoor Corporation,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], NASDAQGS: DECK) will launch a collection of footwear designed for a wide variety of adventures, including the introduction of Teva's first-ever mountain bike freeride shoe, the Links.
"This fall season we've used our experience and technology to develop the widest range of footwear in the brand's history," says Teva president Pete Worley. The brand collaborated with Teva athlete and professional mountain biker Jeff Lenosky to design the Links,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], a freeride mountain bike shoe loaded with technical features. The sole,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], made from Teva's proprietary Spider365 sticky rubber, was designed specifically to interface with the unique platform of a freeride bike pedal. The shoe also has flexible armor in key wear areas and uses ion-mask™ technology for complete water protection.
"Teva has supported the freeride mountain bike scene for years at the Teva Mountain Games and I've always been impressed with their shoes," says Lenosky. "It was an amazing opportunity to design a product from the ground up and Teva didn't compromise on any aspect of these shoes."
Also in 2011, Teva will build upon the successful Forge Pro MXT platform with introductions of the Forge Pro Winter Mid WP and the Forge Pro Mid eVent®. The Forge Pro Winter Mid incorporates Thinsulate™ insulation, a T.I.D.E. Seal waterproof membrane,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and new Hypergrip® technology, which uses pods infused with fiberglass on the sole for optimal grip on ice.
The Vero boot will offer something new for the ladies - a winter lace boot with medial zip, waterproof T.I.D.E. seal construction, and 200 gram Thinsulate™ insulation built on a lower profile mountain cross trainer platform with White Spider Rubber for grip in cold conditions.
Teva will also introduce a closed toe version of one of their incredibly popular collections, Mush®. The Mush Frio line is a comfortable, lightweight answer to all those people who hate putting away their flip-flops in the winter.。
