BRITISH artist Marc Quinn is dusting off designs for his nude, yoga-contorted sculpture of Kate Moss, which toured the Netherlands final year, to build a fashionable version for display in the UK. A three-metre lofty version of Myth (Sphinx) will be crafted from white-painted bronze to sit beside pieces along Zaha Hadid, Ron Arad and a movie installation by Israeli photographer Michal Rovner at the upcoming Beyond Limits marketing of modern and present-day sculpture by Chatsworth House in Derbyshire. Quinn - famed for his polemical sculpture Alison Lapper Pregnant, which currently resides in Trafalgar Square – claims Moss embodies the perfect modern muse. "There have to be someone about her that has clicked with the collective senseless to make her so ubiquitous, so spirit-of-the-age,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]," he explains.
