I've got a touch of bag makers block!
I will make the bag for the Sewing World tutorial,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], then I will later sell the bag and donate the money for it to Breast Cancer Care. So you see,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I want to make this bag pretty special but as it is for a tutorial I have to make it reasonably easy to construct. For some reason my mind has gone a bit blank (actually this happens a lot,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], heh,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]!) and I can't think of what to design for this bag! Can you help, should I design a Shoulder Bag, Reversible Bag, Evening Bag...I dunno,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]! Heeee-yelp,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]! ::UPDATE:: I have just received some gorgeous pink fabric (in the post - it will be in the shop tomorrow), so that's the fabric sorted for the bag...
It's been lovely reading about what bags you are all cooking up, or aregoing to cook. There's something very cosy about knowing that thereare lots of us out there all making bags at the same time Have youtold us what bag/s you are making yet? If you do, you might win this summer bag you have until July 10th!
I'll sign off for today with something you make you giggle (because I don't believe just being sad about it helps anyone...). Here is a funny antidote to all those lazy-good-for-nothing-scam-merchants who send spam emails asking you for your bank account details (instead of getting a job like the rest of us!)
Bloody frightening...enough said!
Worldwide, more than a million women are diagnosed with breastcancer every year, accounting for a tenth of all new cancers and 23% ofall female cancer cases.Breast cancer incidence rates vary considerably, with the highest ratesin the developed world and the lowest rates in Africa and Asia (Figure 1.2

Busy as per usual (which is great,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I'm not moaning,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]!). I'm a bit stuck though. I find that sometimes the hardest thing about making bags is what bag shall I make. It's a bit like the hardest part of cooking is knowing what to cook for that day - do you ever get that? The Sewing World Magazine bag is around the corner and I have to hand it in next week (for publication in September) and this month the theme is Breast Cancer.
