The canvas Damier Neverfull bag gets its European launch this week,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], exclusively at Selfridges,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], to celebrate the 100th birthday of the legendary department store. For six weeks the bag will only retail in Selfridges Oxford Street and Manchester.
The Damier square-printed canvas was originally launched in the 19th Century -?and the classic Neverfull shape has most recently been relaunched as part of the acclaimed?Stephen Sprouse for Louis Vuitton collection. Louis Vuitton relaunched the?Damier canvas?in 1996 - in a complete collection of bags and small leather goods - and the print has proved popular ever since; being further developed under Marc Jacobs'?design directorship.
