Which is not to say the bags were boring – they weren’t. The inverse, in fact. And they weren’t entirely successful, but I obliged the combination of colors, substances,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and textures that Jacobs offered in order to make something new out of 1 of the most recognizable logos in the fashion world. The accumulation was heavy on messengers, and the ones that combined VI leather with flat in different colors were probably the best bags of the show, in counting to the duffel bags made of similar textures. The more I look via the bags from the last half of the collection, the more the eclectic ideas and influences grow on me,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and I’m not sure what my last attitude will be once the dust of fashion week has settled. One thing is sure, whereas; adventurous collections favor Louis Vuitton, John Galliano and Alexander McQueen are what make Paris the world’s reigning fashion metropolis. New York has some catching up to do.
As distant for bags work, the show started…dreadfully. Most of them arose to be made of dip-dyed cotton canvas in comfit colors with coordinating fluffy appendages flowing off the back, which were periodically bigger than the sack itself. After a dozen looks,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I thought I was in for a very unpleasant show.
Between the half-shoes/half-claws shown at Alexander McQueen and [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] Spring 2010 creature show in a barn with smirking models,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I thought I had discerned every preposterous thing that Paris Fashion Week had to attempt.
But later a little meantime, things began apt see decidedly better. I’m no sure whether it was fair the shape show version of Stockholm Syndrome, I guess that’s always feasible, but things rallied a bit during the navel and end parts of the show. Instead of canvas bags with beast chapters hanging from them,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Vuitton returned to the leathers and embossed logos to which fans are slightly more adapted.
