He invites the TV watchers at home to open their window and yell….I’m mad as hell, and I’m not going to take it anymore.Well the network executives enjoyed the sudden boost in ratings so they gave Beale his own show. On his show he continued his rants until they began to lose their flavor and message to the public. He finds out his network is being bought out by a big wig from a foreign country, and Beale is MAD.Short end of the stick, the show’s producer sets up a plot to murder Beale on live TV by a group of terrorists. It happens. Beale is murdered live on national television. The film ends with an evening news anchor reporting about the murder on air.
