Paul Smith Project 10: Bag In Japan will be showcased exclusively at the Design Museum from May 18 to June 1.
The number 138 is not meaningless either - it corresponds to the number of Paul Smith stores there are in Japan where the bag will retail - which means that each store will carry only one style and only 10 pieces of each creating a style cult individual to each store.
Smith has created 138 different designs which will all appear on one bag shape; the flight bag. Despite the seemingly huge number of styles,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], only 10 of each will be created, resulting in an offering that is covetable and collectable.
