I feel like the idea of this bag was to create a sort of edgy piece in a more conservative neutral tone. The problem is that the combination of chainmail and brown leather looks cheap and unsophisticated. The rectangular shape of the bag is bland and does nothing to enhance its appeal. And then there's the little bow trim on the zipper. I don't even know where to begin about that, it just looks out of place and out of proportion.

The thing about taking fashion risks is that sometimes they are unsuccessful.
