IT'S all change at Hugo Boss. Established designer Bruno Pieters has been named art director of HUGO,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the label's diffusion line. Pieters, whose role as an external consultant means he will still continue to design his namesake label from Antwerp,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], will be "responsible for the design and strategy of the collections",[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], according to a company spokesperson. After the shock and sudden departure of HUGO creative director Volker Kaechele at the end of 2006,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the label has remained tight-lipped over reasons for his departure and who exactly would be lined up to take his place.
