IT's not constantly one keeps a designer must-have in the cellar, yet Roberto Cavalli is changing entire that with the release of 2 new wine brands: Cavalli Collection and Cavalli Selection. The blends of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Alicante Bouchet are produced from grapes grown above the Cavalli kin estate - Tenuta degli Dei,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], in the Chianti region of Tuscany - as the commerce,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which is run by Cavalli's son, Tommaso. "Tommaso never inquired me as everything in his life and wanted to give the name of the territory to the wine," the designer tells WWD. "He's the true idealist. He didn't ambition to take convenience of my label,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], but it's taken me 40 years to create my mark - why not make reference to it to enhance the brandy?" And with leopard-printed and RC-logo'd flasks,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych],[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], they certainly haven't done namely with half amounts. The 1st 5,000 bottles of Cavalli brandy - which have taken 8 years to perfect - will be dispensed in Tuscany ahead launching in the UK, Germany, Switzerland and the US early afterward annual.
