tarted being able to afford it. It's much nicer than JC Penney's. Days of no running water meant baths were hard to find. I never got used to no heat but I was OK with no coat. Having no shoes was only Ok when I didn't leave home. Having a car that always stopped in the middle of the highway was not OK. Having only spoiled milk and outdated cereal to eat was expensive. That is when it cost you a trip to the hospital. Reusing dirty disposable dishes was weird. Not being able to go to the doctor sometimes was a pain. And I still have a humongous medical bill from a long time ago I'm paying on.

I just got to thinking about how I have always known what it's like to be poor. I have been poor many times. I have seen a lot of poor people. There are many knowledges that come with being poor. I wonder if people who aren't poor and where never poor are aware of it much. I wonder that life is like not being poor. I'm used to being on a budget. So I usually budget shop even when I really don't have to. I just settle for what's simpler or cheaper. And I try to not go out of my way much with spending money especially on myself. I have dumpster dived so many times in the past that I developed a strong fear of garbage and of uncleanliness. I have nightmares aboutyilai：
