On the secondary stage, Hot Chip and Flaming Lips will be the closing acts of the first day. Editors and Pet Shop Boys will follow on Saturday [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and finally, on Sunday, MGMT, LCD Soundsystem and Orbital will be closing off.
Across the massive green area of Worthy Farm, over 200 bands will be playing for festival-goers who purchased the £185 ($280) ticket. Although the number of attendees this year has not yet been confirmed, in 2009 134,000 people went to Glastonbury, not including the thousands of employees and band members.

After much expectation, and once all the tickets have been sold out, Glastonbury Festival has confirmed its final line-up. The excitement and anticipation for big names is now justified:
Glastonbury festival's main stage will be hosting, on Friday June 25, U2, Dizzee Rascal, Vampire Weekend and Snoop Dogg. On Saturday June 26, artists at the level of Muse and Scissor Sisters will be presenting both their classics and latest work, and finally, on Sunday 27, Stevie Wonder, Faithless and Jack Johnson will close off the event.
The third and more alternative of the main stages will be hosting, as their principal acts, Groove Armada on Friday, the infallible Jamie T on Saturday and Ash on the final evening.
As well as the three main stages mentioned above [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], the festival has nine 'official' areas (in addition to dozens of other designated zones) for electronic music, poetry and other alternative artists. Furthermore, attendees have endless options for distraction and entertainment: silent disco (hundreds of music-lovers with headphones listening and dancing to their own music, giving a peculiar image to the outsider), the Green Fields, for a quieter time relaxing on the grass and enjoying the sunset, or the Tipi fields.
